Flower studies

Many of these flower images were taken on my mobile phone, and the subjects were found and picked in many cases on local walks around the neighbourhood - serendipity at work.  But I have never forgotten the erotic and luscious images of flowers by Francois Bibal  I saw in a magazine at photography college in 1990 - sensuous close ups - so these will have to do until I can try to capture the essence of these glorious blooms with a macro lens.
